Pre-Entry English: ESOL English Conversation Class (Beginner - Pre Inter)

This beginner to pre-intermediate course will help you to communicate basic ideas in English on a range of everyday topics. You will practise reading, writing, speaking and listening, with a focus on conversation skills. You will also learn new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and start to learn about basic English grammar. You will work with other learners at a similar level and be expected to take part in pair and group activities in the classroom. If you have little to no experience speaking and learning English - this is the course for you. We have an experienced and professional tutor who will offer you the guidance, support and practice needed to improve your English language ability. The classes will be relaxed, informal and friendly - a safe space to meet new people and learn new skills. If you lack confidence in your English language skills and wish to improve - please sign up for our course. Functional Skills Qualification in English (Level 1)

A new and exciting opportunity to develop your skills in English is coming to ACT in Fir Vale, Sheffield! Develop skills to help you read, write, and communicate in English with confidence. Improved language skills open doors to work and study opportunities and help you learn key skills for employment. Level 1 functional skills courses are not like learning English at school. They’re created by adults for adults, and aim to teach you practical English skills through real-life situations. Strengthen your writing skills and learn reading techniques to help you tackle everyday situations at work or while studying. This adult English course helps you develop your language skills through real-life situations. Functional Skills level 1 is a government-funded accredited English course for adults. Pre-Entry English: Basic ESOL English Conversation Class (St Richards)

26th March 10.00am - 12.00pm we will be running an 'Enrollment day' to support learners applying for and enrolling on these courses. This beginner to pre-intermediate ESOL English conversation course will help you to communicate basic ideas in English on a range of everyday topics. The course will run Tuesdays from 10.00am-12.00pm with our lovely Teacher Jane Perrin. Classes will be held in St Richards Church and Community Hall over a 6 week period with a view to running further courses later - so a great chance to get registered to learn with the ܽƵ! You will practise reading, writing, speaking and listening, with a focus on conversation skills. You will also learn new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, and start to learn about basic English grammar.
