Adult education for jobseekers

We are a registered charity and largest provider of largest voluntary sector provider of adult education in the UK.

We have a proven track record of providing support for long-term unemployed, people returning to the workforce and people with disabilities.Ìý

Expert tutors

Our supportive tutors are experts in creating accessible and impactful courses for jobseekers.

They will tailor them to the needs of your jobseekers and local employers.

Our courses are developed and delivered by tutors from your local community, so they understand your local needs and local labour market too.ÌýÌýÌý

Courses that work for you

From Sector-based Work Academy Programmes (SWAPs) and accredited courses, to courses that build confidence, mental wellbeing, and work skills.

Our approach is flexible and we respond quickly, which will help you achieve positive outcomes for your clients. You can book individual clients or groups onto courses, or partner with us to create a bespoke programme for a group of clients.

Free courses to improve employability

Our courses can helpÌýbuild confidence and employability skills, provide basic English, maths and IT skills and support mental wellbeing.

We offer a number of free job seekers courses to help your clients build the core skills valued by all employers, including:

  • confidence-building, personal & social skills for work and independenceÌýÌý
  • health & safety awareness for work (fire safety, manual handling, first aid)ÌýÌý
  • functional maths and English (up to equivalent of Grade 4/C GCSE)ÌýÌý
  • ESOL (including for specific sectors e.g. health care)ÌýÌý
  • essential digital skills and IT qualificationsÌýÌý

We offer online courses and in venue courses. Our courses are fully funded for people on Jobseekers Allowance, Universal Credit, or on a low-wage.
