Simply put, they are skills that make everyday life easier. Life skills include cooking, budgeting, communicating with others, health, well-being and managing emotions. Sometimes this means learning new things, and sometimes it means building on things you already know.

Driving Theory Test Preparation (Linkbridge)

This course is designed to help prepare learners for their driving theory test. It continues straight on from the introduction course and offers progression for those who completed the course at the end of 2023 as well as any new learners who want to join at this stage. The course will help learners to get familiar with what can be expected on the driving theory course and help them to learn the knowledge needed to take the test. The course will help them be familiar with the highway code, road signs, hazard perception and what to expect on the day of the exam. This is a 15 week course which will cover the main aspects of the exam and support them with their revision.

Life in the UK Exam Preparation (Linkbridge)

This course is designed to help prepare foreign learners for their Life in the UK test. The course is a first step in teaching learners about what to be expected on the test and what they need to revise for when they plan to take the test later on. The course has a minimum ESOL requirement to join the course as learners need to be of a high intermediate level in order to be able to understand and join in the course fully. The course will introduce you to all aspects of the UK in order to try and pass the UK Citizenship test. You will learn and discuss different laws, UK history, culture and social aspects of what is expected of typical UK citizens in everyday life. Our course is friendly and supportive and run by a fully qualified tutor. Any learners who attended the introduction course can continue on the course and any new learners can enrol also.
