Preparation for Work: Dare to Dream

Dare to Dream is a course for visually impaired/blind learners which will be taught at Wakefield District Sight Aid, focussing on opportunities to consider and explore their own progression. This can apply to employment, self-employment, volunteering or further study. Students will be able to develop goals and action plans which identify the steps they need to take next, identify potential barriers and ways to overcome and/or manage these, be informed on possible sources of information, advice and funding. Students will also be able to support each other by providing peer mentoring, giving and receiving feedback on their goals and action plans.
