What is social prescribing?
Social prescribing, which is often known as a community referral, allows health professionals to refer people to a range of local, non-clinical services, such as adult education.
At the ÅÝÜ½¶ÌÊÓÆµ, we have a long history of working with adults who are dealing with lifeâ€™s challenges, and we often find that social prescribing can help alleviate these issues.
Social prescribing has always been part of the ÅÝÜ½¶ÌÊÓÆµ offer.
We recognise that adult educationÌýcan be a great option when looking at social prescribing routes, as it helps people make positive life choices, as well as helping to improve mental and physical health.
