Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject

Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.

Course description
This course has been designed for those who are responsible for giving ‘ad hoc’ training or are passing on detailed information to colleagues in a one to one or small group setting. By attending this workshop, participants will consider the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to design and deliver effective training sessions. Whether you are a more experienced trainer or new to the role, this course equips you with the tools to inspire and train others successfully. We will be considering how to keep the learner at the centre of our planning, strategies for understanding our learning objectives and considering how the objectives can best be delivered. Investigating the use of multimedia or visual aids and any other techniques to ensure that engaging sessions are delivered. Consideration will be given to how we will manage our training group and testing that your learning objectives have been met? You will also have a chance to practice some of the techniques in a short simulated training exercise. Join this session to consider your approach to training and learn basic approaches to training including proven strategies, interactive methods and effective communication techniques to create a positive and productive learning environment.
