Simply put, they are skills that make everyday life easier. Life skills include cooking, budgeting, communicating with others, health, well-being and managing emotions. Sometimes this means learning new things, and sometimes it means building on things you already know.

Sometimes adulting can be hard. These courses can help make it feel just that bit easier, make you feel more independent and empower you to face the future ahead.

This Yoga , Meditation and Mindfulness programme is ideal for beginners or anyone that wants support in returning to their practice through a gentle approach. Did you know that the purpose of Hatha Yoga is to prepare both body and mind for the practice of meditation? Yoga practice supports you to ease physical tension in the body as well as improving your strength, flexibility and balance. You will practice an accessible range of stretches and postures , staying connected to your breathing. A session of Yoga practice will prepare you for the calming practice of Meditation and Mindfulness. You will learn to still the mind through simple, calming breathing techniques and enjoy the practice of Yoga Nidra which encourages deep relaxation of your whole being, supported by soothing visualisation. During this practice, you will set a positive intention for the day. This programme will provide you with a weekly opportunity to start your day feeling calm and focused. Wednesday morning. Welcome to your FREE 4-week course all about Indian head massage. Where you will learn about the history, origin, and principles behind Indian head massage. We will explore the benefits to Indian Head massage, the techniques and precautions that are taken when performing the treatment. Cooking on a budget for Under 1 Roof (Multiply Norfolk)

Join us to learn how to make delicious food on a budget. This course will show you how to cook using basic ingredients at less than half the cost of shop bought produce. There are two parts to this course, a lunch menu and a ‘make, bake and take’ dish for you to take away with you. The lunch menu guides you through measuring and adjusting ingredients to cater for the volume of people you need to feed and also compares the cost to that of Ready Made, shop bought dishes. This course also gives you an opportunity to taste the difference between shop bought and freshly made produce. This course is free to anyone in Norfolk who is 19+ and hasn't achieved a grade C (equivalent) in Maths.
