This is the continuing course and gives the learners to progress onto the next stage of their learning at this level and will help prepare them to move onto entry 1 provision in September.

You will work with other learners at a similar level and be expected to take part in pair and group activities in the classroom. This is a new ESOL course aimed for beginner ESOL learners, offering them a friendly and safe online environment to practise speaking and listening in English in order to gain more confidence in their day to day lives. The course offers a virtual 'conversation cafe' where learners are taught by an experience qualified tutor who will guide them and help them build their English skills. The course is on Tuesday and Friday 1pm - 3pm. This is a place where learners can make mistakes and work together to improve their English language skills at whatever pace they need.

This course is the third pre-entry ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) course at the Faith Centre designed to help them carry on their ESOL journey. Learners will continue to learn about the English language and the essential skills they need to use it in their lives here in the UK and to help them on their journey towards work. This pre-entry ESOL course will teach you skills to communicate some basic ideas in English. Through a range of activities, you will develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. The course will have an initial assessment at the start to identify that you are the right level to join the course unless you are continuing. This course will be held at a friendly, local community centre with good facilities where learners can learn the basics of English in a safe and supportive environment.
